Tribute to Carl Palmer

Categories: Music

Okay, after my Tribute to Buddy Rich, I was watching some videos on the Internet of Carl Palmer, drummer of Emerson, Lake and Palmer.  Unfortunately, most of the videos are not good quality recordings, and they don't display Palmer's ability as well as I would like.  But I did discover this video, which is very impressive.  Compare this one with the Buddy Rich video and see if you notice some similarities.  Apparently, Rich and Palmer were fairly close, and one web source quotes Rich as saying to Palmer, "What you don't steal, you do very well."

Here's to Carl Palmer - one of the very best!
