FoxNews: Michigan Woman Faces Civil Rights Complaint for Seeking a Christian Roommate

Categories: ReligionPoliticsOpinion

Another example of the lack of freedom in America:

"A civil rights complaint has been filed against a woman in Grand Rapids, Mich., who posted an advertisement at her church last July seeking a Christian roommate.

"The ad 'expresses an illegal preference for a Christian roommate, thus excluding people of other faiths,' according to the complaint filed by the Fair Housing Center of West Michigan."

There is nothing wrong with discrimination.  It's natural.  "Birds of a feather flock together."  And it usually amounts to nothing more than a preference, and rarely involves hatred or even dislike.  In this Michigan case, the woman didn't specify "No Muslims" or "No Jews".  She simply prefers living with a Christian.  So do I.  The problem is not with those who discriminate, it's with those who are overly sensitive and feel offended when they are not chosen.  They feel as if they're not wanted...and they may or may not be (wanted).  But that's part of freedom - the freedom that we're losing in America.

Michigan, leave this woman alone.  She's not a criminal, and you're wasting taxpayer dollars!
