Memorex: What Would Possess You?

Categories: Opinion

memorex CD-R

February 8, 2011

Dear Memorex:

What on earth would possess you to paint the surface of a blank CD black?!

Maybe you weren't aware: We (consumers) often use Sharpies to label our CDs.  Sharpies are black.  Black ink on a black surface doesn't work.  Memorex is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.  You're professionals.  You should know about the black Sharpie thing by now.

Don't let it happen again.  We're countin' on you.  Don't let us down.
