I try not to criticize others unless I'm confident I could do a significantly better job.

But what idiot thinks it's a good idea to borrow money in order to pay debts?!

Obama is one.  Yes, there are countless others, and I needn't try to name them all.  I will say that they all seem to work for the U.S. government.

I'm not a financial wizard.  When I get money, I spend it like it was my last day on the planet.  Someday, it will be.

But I'm debt free.  Why?  Because I don't borrow.  And if I did borrow, I wouldn't borrow more in an effort to pay back what I borrowed to start with.

American politicians - both Republican and Democrat - recently voted to raise the nation's debt limit.  If they didn't, they told us, America wouldn't be able to pay her debts.

Uhhh...could that be a sign that we're already in way over our heads?  I'm just saying...

I'm tempted to write a letter to all the countries of the world, particularly China, and explain to them that I don't owe them a red cent, and I have absolutely no intention of paying them back what the blockheads in Washington borrowed for their own benefit.  I would also encourage those countries to stop loaning America money.  We don't need it - we're one of the richest, most resourceful nations in history!

But why bother?  Americans will just go back to Republicans, then back to Democrats, then Republicans, then...  Does "ad nauseum" mean anything to you?

It's incredible to me that Americans continue to vote for the same two political parties that force us all to live under this insanity.

I want you to go into your bathroom.  Lift the toilet seat and flush it.  See the water spinning around?  That's our country.  Look carefully and you'll see your own distorted reflection.  Think about it for a while, and you'll start seeing your friends and family as well, all smiling and laughing.  They, like you, don't understand what a disastrous mess this country is in.  We're the laughing stock of the world.  We're the butt of the international joke of the century.

America, at the next election, like the last, I would urge you to vote for anyone - ANYONE - other than Republicans or Democrats.  There are plenty of candidates who support the principles of freedom our country was founded on.  Most are members of the Libertarian party, but there are others.  Just STOP putting the same lunatics in office that continue taking, wasting, spending, and losing your money, your children's money, and your grand-children's money.

It's got to stop sooner or later, and the longer we delay, the more difficult it will be in the end.  And it may literally be "the end" for America.  Is that what you want for your descendants?
