The Confederate (Or Any Other) Flag

Categories: Opinion

By Jonas Maxwell

The Confederate flag.

I defend the right to display the Confederate flag or any other flag.

Until now, it never meant anything to me.  The Confederate flag.

Now, there are people trying to tell us we can't display it.

It doesn't matter whether it's a Confederate flag, a national flag, a checkered flag, a rainbow flag, a skull and crossbones, or any other flag.  You have a right to display it even when others don't like it or don't like what it means to them.

So I display this flag not because it means something to me, but simply because the right to display it means something to me.

Whatever your flag is, display it proudly, and defend it to the death.
