Is it my fault we broke off from British rule and founded the United States of America?

Is it my fault Benjamin Franklin's research led to the invention of the lightning rod, and helped pave the way to batteries in the 1750's?

Is it my fault the Declaration of Independence was written and signed in 1776?

Is it my fault the U.S. Constitution was ratified in 1789?

Is it my fault the game of baseball was born in the 18th century?

Is it my fault the Civil War and slavery ended through the Thirteenth Amendment in 1865?

Is it my fault the Louisiana Purchase allowed the U.S. to acquire around 828,000 square miles of territory from the French in 1803?
